Student Parking Permits - Spring 2023

Parking permits for the spring 2023 semester will be available for purchase online at go.lehigh.edu/parking, beginning at 9:30 AM on Thursday, January 5, 2023 for on-campus and off-campus student residents. All permits will be valid until May 23, 2023 and will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

There will be 2 permit options offered to on-campus, fraternity/sorority and Southside Commons residents:

  1. Residential permit: $230.
  2. Commuter permit with evening & weekend privileges: $50.

There will be 2 permit options offered to off-campus residents:

  1. Commuter permit with evening & weekend privileges: $50.
  2. Commuter permit valid in the Goodman commuter lot ONLY: $0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Residential and commuter permits with evening and weekend privileges are also valid in the 4 hour short term parking spaces located on the Mountaintop campus.
  • Fraternity and sorority members living off-campus must obtain at least a commuter permit with evening & weekend privileges if they wish to park in the assigned parking lot of their fraternity/sorority for meals and meetings.
  • Off-campus residents who wish to purchase a residential permit must email inwait@lehigh.edu to be placed on a waiting list. On or after the 10th day of classes, Parking Services will contact you with permit availability and next steps.

To purchase a permit, please login at go.lehigh.edu/parking with your Lehigh ID and password. DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT.

Online Permit Purchase Information

Please keep in mind:

  • If your vehicle was not previously registered with Lehigh, you will be required to scan and upload a copy of your state vehicle registration. Your state vehicle registration must be included with your submission or you will NOT be able to complete your purchase and your application will not be processed.
  • Payment: We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Please check the billing address you enter as it defaults to the shipping address you enter.
  • Shipping: All orders will be shipped one to two days after the order is placed. Please allow 7-10 business days for delivery. All permits will be shipped USPS. Please be mindful of where you will be residing at the time of shipment. Please be sure you have entered your correct campus mailing address if you opt to ship your permit to campus. Shipping is free.
  • After you have completed the transaction, please print out and display your receipt on your dashboard until your permit arrives. Parking Services will send you a confirmation of your permit purchase on the following business day.

Student Parking During Finals & Winter Break

Reminder: The Motor Vehicle & Parking Regulations are in effect throughout the exam period (Tuesday, December 6 through Wednesday, December 14, 2022). Student parking is not permitted in faculty/staff parking zones Monday-Friday from 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM. As always, permits are required at all times (even after 4:00 PM and on weekends). Students with valid parking permits who plan on leaving their cars on campus during winter break (December 15, 2022 - January 22, 2023) MUST park in the Goodman commuter lot.  Click here for the exact lot location. If you do not have a permit, please obtain one from the Parking Services office. You may purchase an off-campus/commuter parking permit valid until May 23, 2023 for $50. The permit also allows you to park in the 4 hour student short term parking spaces located on the Mountaintop campus, and in faculty/staff parking zones Monday-Friday 4:00 PM - 6:00 AM and on weekends. 

Students with valid parking permits who will be staying on campus during the winter break may park in their assigned parking areas; however, you must complete this form with your contact information to Parking Services in case we need to contact you for lot maintenance/snow removal purposes. If you are staying on campus and do not have a permit, permits are available online at: go.lehigh.edu/parking. You may also obtain a temporary permit for $8/day or $40/week. Please contact Parking Services if you would like to obtain a temporary permit.

How To Obtain A Permit

Student permits can be purchased online at: go.lehigh.edu/parking.  If you are a student purchasing a permit for yourself, please keep in mind:
